Get paid at the counter, in the bay and from the customer’s phone.
Shopbook Pay takes card payments today, by link and at the desk, into your shop’s own account on Stripe. Card readers at the counter and in the bays are coming.
Card readers at the counter
and in the bays.
Stripe smart readers, WisePOS E, S700 or S710, registered to your shop and, if you like, to a bay. Tap or insert, and the payment lands on the invoice as it clears.
Authorize and pay
from one link.
The customer opens one link, with no app and no account, authorizes each job, and pays the invoice there when it is issued. Online bookings take a deposit the same way.

What a card
payment costs.
Stripe’s processing rate, paid by the shop, as on its Stripe statement. Shopbook’s fee on a card payment: none.

Card payments at your processor’s rate. We add nothing.
Payouts and payments
at the desk.
The payments that come in at the desk and the payouts that go out to the bank, on the same record.
Desk payments
Record cash or check, or charge a card at the desk. One open checkout per invoice, so a payment is never taken twice.
Payouts
Payouts on Stripe’s schedule to the shop’s bank. An owner can request an instant payout where Stripe offers it.
Where revenue slips,
in four reports.
Unbilled labor, overdue balances, declined work and below‑rate billing, each a report that opens the records behind it.
Unbilled labor
Clocked hours beyond the hours billed
Overdue balances
Invoices still owed past their due date
Declined work
Jobs a customer declined, kept to offer again
Below-rate billing
Labor billed under the shop’s own rate
